As a 研发工程师-电动汽车充电, you will be part of the Power Grids (PG) Division and Grid Integration (BU) Business unit, based in Shanghai. ABB is World’s No.1 in Power Products Business and the product manufactured becomes the key components to transmit and distribute electricity. The division incorporates ABB’s manufacturing network for Transformers, Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Cables and associated equipment. It also offers all the services needed to ensure products’ performance and extend their lifespan.
As a 研发工程师-电动汽车充电, you will be responsible for work packages within the project(s) he/she is working for.
Your Tasks as a 研发工程师-电动汽车充电 will include the following:
？ Technical planning with project team, lead interdisciplinary engineer technically.
？ Derive technical requirement, concept and design from market requirement.
？ Problem formulation, analysis, inception of different solution option.
？ Information research, calculation and simulation-based evaluation of design alternative.
？ Consensus building on technical level, always considering overall project constraint.
？ Validation of results, quality and compliance to spec for delegated work.
？ Planning, establishment and conduction of system and sub-system tests as test leader.
？ Project documentation, procedures & tools (technical content).
？ Support roll-out, collect feedback and resolve issues.
？ Cost optimal high-quality design in direct collaboration with ABB research, technology providers and SCM and external suppliers.
？ Coaching of colleague.
？ Participation to customers & suppliers F2F meeting (travelling).
？ Strong support for pilot project definition & negotiation.
？ Used to work with decentralized & multicultural teams working in different time zones.
？ Bachelor’s Degree and major in Electrical Engineering with 6 years of experience or Master’s Degree with at least 4 years of experience in electrical systems like drives, chargers, UPS.
？ Work experience in integrating power electronic converters or similar, power system topology implications, high current low or medium voltage applications.
？ Demonstrated understanding of safety requirements in the context of electrical systems.
