Technical Director

Principal Responsibilities:

Assessment of customer requirements, conceptual design and specification of customized service solutions and modelling/costing/pricing of financial business cases

Interface with strategic planning and commercial department to achieve business goals

Ensure that technical standards and best practices are maintained across the organization

Deliver technical audits, reliability enhancements and conduct commercial and marketing visits for new and existing accounts

Act as technical lead on contract/tender proposals

Establish a customer service and support process with responsibility for technical services

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development

Develop, track, and control the development and deployment of annual operating and capital budgets for your department

You will already have:

Significant experience at senior level in Machine Tools Engineering

Demonstrable ability to envision services that meet consumer needs and/or solve business problems

Proven leadership ability and excellent people management skills

Good verbal and written communication skills in English

Exceptionally self-motivated and directed

Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences

Keen attention to detail

Strong analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
